  Laura Lind, a resident of Sonoma County has been singing on stage, and making music since she was a child. Laura is a vocalist, song writer and musician, who features lead pickin' on the autoharp. A third generation native of San Francisco, she was born on New Year's day after her folk dancing parents danced a spirited Hambo that eve. At the age of five she performed on a televised Holiday Special where she danced and had the opportunity to sing a duet with the velvet voice of Mel Torme.

Laura was recently the featured subject of Sonoma Counties' KRCB Radio program "Walks of Life." She has performed at the Brookdale Bluegrass Festival, the Traditional Folk Societies' Summer Solstice Festival, the Claremont Folk Festival, the Adam's Avenue Festival in San Diego, the Willamette Valley Oregon Autoharp Gathering, the California Autoharp Gathering, the San Francisco Free Folk Festival, The Good Old Fashioned Bluegrass Festival, the Santa Barbara Old-Time Fiddler's Convention and is a three time winner of the "People's Choice Award" for Outstanding Musical Performance on the Open Stage of the Mt. Laurel Pennsylvania Autoharp Gathering. 

  She has performed at many schools and libraries through out California for children of all ages. Laura gives lessons and workshops on vocals, autoharp, and performance. She is currently recording an album of original songs and her duet album, "Wild Birds" received airplay in 17 countries.
